Generating with Codi Apps

Selecting the Right App

1. Choose the appropriate app for your specific use case from the first column of the AskCodi interface.
2. Apps are custom versions of chat, tailored for better results in particular domains.
3. Selecting the language you're working with can significantly improve the quality of the generated output.

Providing Input

1. Use the input text area in the generator component to describe what you're trying to generate, as if you were explaining it to a co-worker.
2. You can include images in your input using the image button (only for models that support image input).
3. For better formatting of your input, use the code button provided.

Generation and Output

1. After generation, the app UI transitions into chat mode in the top section of the middle column, allowing you to ask follow-up questions about the generated content.
2. Code is automatically formatted in the output for better readability.
3. Copy buttons are available for both code snippets and the full output, making it easy to use the generated content.
