Types of In-App Currency
V5 currently uses two main types of in-app currency, visible in the top right corner of your header:
- AI Credits
- LLM Tokens
AI Credits
- Used to run the app sandbox and code spaces
- Usage depends on the model cost
- If a model's cost is zero, AI credits don't affect usage (unlimited usage)
- Some models have associated costs, which will consume AI credits
- There are no type - one that refreshes monthly and the other which does not expire
- You can earn or buy non expiry AI credits
LLM Tokens
- Used to activate AI models on the platform
- Can activate current models or future models in development
- Models are tied to plan levels (Free, Premium, Ultimate)
- Each model has different activation costs
Managing Your In-App Currency
- AI Credits: Monitor usage, especially for models with associated costs
- LLM Tokens: Activate only the models you plan to use, as activation costs are irreversible
